Ganbara Facility Services General Manager Marius Liddle is proud to be making a difference in closing the gap.

Ganbara Facility Services is a majority-owned Indigenous business based in Adelaide with a purpose to create real opportunities for Indigenous people and the communities in which they live, work and play.

Marius is an Arrernte man who grew up in South Australia’s Riverland and has been employed in various government roles directly linked to Indigenous affairs.

His work has included project management and coordination of service delivery for Indigenous communities, managing employment and training programs that support Indigenous workforce participation and contributing to Indigenous policy development to improve the quality of life for Indigenous communities.

Most recently, Marius has established himself as an Indigenous business consultant specialising in employment and training, business development and promoting Indigenous culture within the workplace.

Marius enjoys his work but gains enjoyment from playing his part in Closing the Gap with Indigenous communities through Indigenous economic and workforce participation.

“I am proud of the work that we do in promoting diversity within the workplace. Indigenous employment offers a first-hand experience of our culture into the corporate, government and business worlds, breaking down barriers and encouraging diversity.”

“Along with demonstrating that, not only are Indigenous communities and businesses able to compete with others, but we have the expertise and capability to be industry and sector leaders.”

With the support of capacity partner Academy Services, Ganbara has a national reach into all major capital cities and a determination to grow further into Australia’s regional areas.
